Light & Form

Like most photographers, I don't exclusively photograph commercial style architecture and people's interiors. I too, have other interests within photography, including fine art architecture, and just general pictorial shots while I am out. I recently shot a series of photographs that I titled, 'Light & Form' which you can see on my website at the moment. The idea was to demonstrate how by restricting light in an image, you can divert the attention of the viewer away from distractions and towards the form found within architecture. My intention with these images was to minimise distractions by burning them away, in order to push attention towards the areas I wished to highlight. All of the buildings photographed were located within London.

LRPS

I am also working towards gaining an LRPS from the Royal Photographic Society, which you will probably be hearing more of as my panel develops. An LRPS (Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society) is the first of three distinctions (LRPS ARPS & FRPS) that are awarded to photographers who can submit 10 prints to be reviewed by judges. Both the subject matter of each photograph and the layout of the prints is important. I will also be becoming a member very soon.

General photography

Here is a selection of some other photographic work I have taken for my own personal use. As you can see, I am quite fond of black and white.
